If you stay more on the liberal or centrist end of things, these issues are practically nonexistent.

Gran Turismo 5 (GT5) won't play on my PS3?

OK. I bought a PS3 for my husband for his birthday and GT5. We put the disc in and it played just fine for a few minutes, then the game froze. So, we reset the PS3 and put the game back in. The system reads GT5 and will play the beginning credits, but when we get to the "Warning" screen, it freezes. So, we took back the GT5 game and got a new one. This one does the exact same thing - freezing after a few credits. I can't imagine we would get two discs in a row that don't work so it makes me wonder if it is the system. We have played two other games on it just fine - no problems. HELP please! GT5 is the reason we bought the PS3!

How To Deal With A Clingy Boyfriend?

Okay, so this explanation might be a little long so bear with me...So me and this guy have been together for nearly a year now..I waited about 8 months before making it official between us because I had JUST gotten out of a relationship when I met him. Well we started off spending A LOT of time together, he was always calling and checking up on me, he always wanted me to go out with him and at first it was nice..he's a fun guy, he has a great job and seemed so sweet and treated me good. Now, over time I'm noticing that he's really just clingy. He's always calling me when he's at work (normally at least 8 times a day) he ALWAYS wants me over (EVERYDAY!) and if I say "Well maybe we should spend tonight apart" he throws such a fit and acts like I'm telling him I never want to see him again, he pops up at my house UNANNOUNCED which he knows drives me crazy, he always talks about wanting me to move in and he blames me for him losing his friends when I NEVER tried to keep him all to myself, he also refuses to let me go out to any clubs with my girlfriends by myself. He lost his mother about 5 years ago so I think that may play a part in why he acts like this at his age (he's 28, I'm 22) He always thinks that I'm going to leave him, he seems to not believe me when I tell him I love him or miss him (He'll reply with "yeah right") I mean I really do love him but I don't know how to deal with this. I'm starting to think he's bipolar or something and I'm afraid I may have ignored the warning signs with this one and don't know what to do now. Hi. I've been cutting on and off for about a year and a half. I have anxiety, and I also have symptoms of depression and bipolar disorder (and family history to match-- Yippee.) I've been seeing a therapist. And I've been trying my hardest to get over this. I've tryed talking to people I trust. I've tryed writing, and music and art and reading and watching movies and spending time with people. I've tryed the rubber band thing. And the ice thing. And the soap thing. I've tryed talking to people with the same problem. I have a box full of motivational stuff and a list of things I could do instead. I have quotes about "staying strong" and "loving yourself" all over my walls. I've tryed just about everything under the sun that I could find. I'm feeling a little stressed, help please?

Every healthy life has its share of stress I know; for me I feel like it's never ending. Literally every moment of my life I live in anxiety, even when everything seems to be all right. I've just recently started having panic attacks and I've never told anyone. I am in 11th grade and, on top of keeping my grades up which stresses me even more, I have to think about college. I have no idea what I want to do, where i want to go, and am feeling freaking terrified about SATs, from what I'm being told this test is basically determining my life, and I don't even know how to study for them. I also just found out that the man (mom's ex boyfriend) who I was counting on to pay for at least some of my college tuition is no longer with my mom and they will probably never get back together, so i have no idea how i'm going to pay for college especially with these new budget cuts. I have a feeling that, if i ever become successful, my parents plan to mooch off of me as much as possible in their later years, I feel like a meal ticket. On top of educational issues, I have more personal ones to. I suffer from low self esteem, and generally find it difficult to find things about myself that I like and that I can tell others about. I have also pretty much forced most of my friends away, admittedly some of it was my fault but I can't help but feel it's not all mine even though they respond with the sterotypical "it's you, not us" answer. How do they expect me to act when they never invite me to anything or talk to me and when I confront them about it they act rudely? Am I supposed to be grateful? I also have another group of friends that I'm pretty sure keep me around for the purpose of mocking me non stop, so that makes me mad. I have started to have images in my head of me killing people I don't like or people who have disrespected me, as well as images of self mutilation. When I see someone that seems to be doing something better than me or is more talented than I am (thanks to my low self esteem) I have the urge to kill them to. I have considered suicide, but I've only ever cut myself with a razor and I wasn't even trying to kill myself, I don't know why I did it; that made me feel pretty pathetic. Should I get help? And if so, can I do it discreetly? I know if i say that i need help that I will be considered crazy by my family and friends, I feel like they hate me anyway though so i guess it doesn't matter. I generally just feel pretty lost, I don't really know who I am, I just know that I hate myself...

Why is my computer so loud?

I've had this HP desktop for about 3 years now but probably in the last 2 i've had this problem. Its not the cpu fan because i had it cleaned out by a computer shop about 3-4 months ago and i just cleaned it about 3 days ago. It only makes the noise when i play games or do a lot or heavy stuff. If it makes the noise for about 30 minutes straight it will just power down. No warning, nothing, it'll just shut off. When i turn it back on again it only takes 20 minutes to just shut off then lower and lower each time, so eventually i just have to shut it off and leave it for the day. I've been doing a little research and am thinking its the hardrive. What do you think?

I think animal mutilation is disgusting. Granted, I have pets like many families in the US do, but most people treat them like naughty infants, instead of the wonderful creatures they should be respected as, in all their wild behavior. But to comment on one portion of your post: Casinos are definitely able to restrict players gambling amounts if they are asked/forced to. My home state of Missouri enforced a $500 loss limit every 2 hours for 15 years until the casino lobby successfully got that law written off the books. While the loss limit was the law of the state, you had to have a players' card, and had to have it inserted in the machine to deposit money. If you lost $500 in less than 2 hours, your only other option to gamble in Missouri was to drive to another casino. I think it was a great idea, and Missouri was stupid to get rid of it.

Dad lost his job in the military?

Hi recently my father lost his job in the air force without so much as a warning. He was only 4 years away from retiring. 16 years hes dedicated to them and they're just going to toss him out with no help. I know that the economy is tough right now but I always thought the Military promised a secure job. This all happened because my dads boss made a mistake which caused him to not get a promotion, they said if he had received it he would have been kept. Now I'm just curious as to what other peoples thoughts are on the subject. What do you of marijuana for medicinal purposes? To everyone who is ever planning to go to the Elixir salon located in the very posh DLF city club in phase 4, Gurgaon - DONT GO THERE. After a lot of explaining, he tried to give a good job which was also pathetic when this loud, nosy woman Leena came and took the scissor from him and started cutting my hair like it was her garden. she didnt even use a comb. she uses people as guinea pigs. this is a warning to all those who ever plan to go there - PLEASE DONT. not only did they ruin my hair, they didnt return my money even after asking and just kept standing there dumb. When i went back the next day the manager Siami further ruined my hair in the quest to make the cut presentable. I am stuck with hairpins and embarrasment for a while. Dreams of Mutilation?

Within the last 3-4 months or so I have been having frequent dreams of being horribly mutilated. The dreams themselves are vivid in a way that i can feel the pain very clearly. One dream I remember most of clearly was a large I guess you could say robotic beast who had shoved metallic tenticle like appendages up under my rib cage up into my chest cavity and the begun to spin violently almost like in a buzz saw motion, liqiufying every organ in my body and turning me into a sack of mush. The pain in the dream is unimaginable as for some reason i could not die and end the torment. I woke in cold sweat, shaking and immediately was sitting upright. I was wondering how bad or unhealthy may be the better word it is to have dreams like this quite often? I have othe dreams I could tell you if needed aswell as a person my subconcious has fabricated and haunted many of said dreams. Any answers as to the health effects or any meanings as to what dreams such as this could be would deffinately be appreciated.

Proxies in Friday Night MagicTG?

I know in big time facilities where there's a turnout of more than 20 people there is usually stricter rules, however I play at a small time comic book store where the turnout is no more than 10 every Friday. I was playing for the second time there and I noticed this guy was using Caw Blade. His Birds of Paradise and many other cards were proxied, and others he had painted over on the artwork with Yugioh crap and half naked anime girls that looked like they were 8. After the match I asked my buddy who got me into this how he was allowed to do that. He said that proxies aren't supposed to be legal in standard matches in FNM but the shop owners didn't mind but warned me that overusing proxies could piss people off and if a complaint reached the shop owner that he may ban proxies or start banning people who overuse them. So my question is would it be alright for me to proxy like 5 cards for this artifact deck I'm making? It's not like I'm proxying because I'm lazy. I've worked my *** off to get these cards and now I'm only a few away and I'm so eager to use this in a match. If I can't find the cards to trade off someone in the next week I'll just buy them online. I had a period that was four days long (first and last day were just light brownish white discharge, but the middle two days were light blood first then dark blood neither day had enough to fill a pad) it was three days late. A fake medical document at MEPS?

Okay, so please tell me i am not the only one who thinks this sounds crazy and shouldn't do it. I have some scars on my arms, particularly on my forearms (not from self mutilation, they don't look like that either) but I never went to a doctor when it happened, just slapped some butterfly sticthes on it and called it a day. hello. i have been cutting myself for going on five years now. through the years, i've learned everything about self mutilation there can possibly be to learn. So my roommate is like a brother to me and the whole reason I live there is because we also do web comedy/skit comedy together. My friend and I got caught prank calling and the police are coming over to issue a warning to tell us not to do it again. We won't. I am just unsure what to say to them if they ask if we have been calling other people? We've called like 2 other people, but are unsure if we should tell them no. Is this an internet dating scam?

My step-kids' mother is convinced she has met the man of her dreams online. He supposedly is a neurologist living in Britain and is already telling her to find a house for them with a price range up to $600,000. Everything that has happened so far has been screaming scam. Then, she did the worst thing she can do and gave him her checking account number (which she claims she did on her own to "test" him..don't ask..she's not all there). She didn't have anything in her account and then he just up and deposits $1000 in her account. That is what has me thrown. The only thing I can think of is that it is just a tactic to gain her trust and he plans to get something out of her later. But now she is convinced more than ever that he is legit and is going to come to the US and rescue her from her bad situation. But I just can not imagine someone with as much money as he supposedly has looking online for a date and then actually dropping everything to move to another country for her. Her kids are actually starting to believe it and I don't want to see them let down. But I look like the mean party pooper for trying to warn them. So, does anyone have any insight as to why someone would deposit that kind of money if it is a scam? It wasn't a money order...it was a direct deposit.

Whether you will scar or not depends on many factors, like genetics and the way the cut heals. However, for my own input, don't cut anymore. You're damaging your body in a way that is unhealthy both psychologically and physically. Allowing self-destructive behavior to act as a stress reliever will only lead to more self-destructive behavior, and in the worst case scenario, something along the lines of an abusive relationship, a crack habit, and eighteen small children living in a trailer twenty years down the road.

How can I make this writing piece more poetic?

I am never good enough, no matter how I try. For a long time, I would wake up every morning, disappointed to be alive, to have to face another life as the fat, ugly, terrible person that I am. Death seemed to be the only viable option to end the pain of living. When it came down to it, I was tired, and ready to take a fistful of pills, and go to sleep forever, all I wanted was to feel nothing, to make the pain end. I ended up in a psychiatric hospital for suicidal ideation/attempts, self-mutilation, anxiety, compulsive behaviors and an eating disorder. I didn’t even want to save myself by going to the hospital; I just wanted to make my mother happy. Seeing my mother cry, and worry if this would be the last time she would see her daughter alive was greater punishment that the marks and letters I was carving into my skin with a razor blade. I used the physical pain from the burn of alcohol in open wounds to distract myself from the emotional feelings I was tired of dealing with. Though I never lashed out at others, I was ridiculously angry for the duration of most of the lows that I hit. I was angry at myself, for not being perfect, for worrying my parents, for things that weren’t even my fault. That anger translated into sadness, and cutting, besides shielding me from emotions I no longer wanted to deal with, it gave me yet another to direct my anger and aggression back towards myself. I hated myself for reaching a point where my calm, capable mother, the women who raised two infants with no help admitted that not even could protect me from myself. at a later time, she admitted one of her biggest fears being that should I manage to somehow render myself unconscious, she would be unable to save me, because I am too big for her to move. embarrassed that my obese, 123 pound frame could worry my mother so worried, I immediately downed 4 of the laxatives leftover from my younger sister’s colonoscopy. When I was admitted to the hospital, I had not kept any food down in over a week, another bi-product of the eating disorder I have kept hidden for so long. I never ate unless forced, and even when forced, I stuck a tooth brush down my throat to induce vomiting. Being the paranoid person that I am, I also took way too many laxatives to ensure that nothing even resembling food stayed in my body. It was, and still is a challenge to eat, both physically and mentally. I still am disgusted with myself when I am not hungry, but even more disgusted when I do what I want, because deep down, I know the pain and worry that I am causing the people that care about me. From consuming no food for so long, my body still sometimes panics, and rejects whatever I had attempted to eat if it is too much. Learning to love myself, to take care of myself has been an ongoing challenge, probably one that will still be a part of me years from now. Recognizing myself as a decent human, worthy of respect is going to be my life’s work. I understand that coming out of depression is a long road, and relapse is very possible, but I have learned, and grown as a person. I understand that I will make mistakes, and just because I get a B on a test doesn’t mean that I have wasted my parent’s time by existing just to fail them. There will always be reminders of where I came from, my worn down back molars, scars, and the word ‘failure’ carved into my abdomen. My ribs and hips will still stick out, and my esophagus will always be burnt, my body damaged from the nutrition I refused to consume. I am ashamed to let others see what I have done to myself. recently, I cried when shopping for a swimsuit, I began sobbing upon seeing the damage I had caused to my own body, and from the regret that I still looked fat, even with the sharpness of my exposed bone, unmasked by body fat. Maybe someday, I will be able to attend a family brunch, and not be embarrassed when I can’t eat anything. I will triumph, survive, and maybe someday, have the strength to say I’m pretty, and not be lying through my teeth.

This is an emotional outburst. I don't think you should change it at all unless you need to turn it in as a written assignment. If it is maybe look for spelling errors. But don't take out any raw emotion.

Those who enter into the Un-Relative One by humbling the time created and Illusion rooted self identity prove they are son of God and that the Spiritual genes have precedence over the physical ones and therefore they become peacemakers. Illusion is that which appears, seems real, but then disappears while Truth (reality) is that which is and has been always. Time is just a word we use to describe illusion and its nature. God allows us to enter further into Truth which is Eternal Oneness or to walk in illusion which gives us the nature of Illusion which is to pass away. One day the Eternal fire of the Truth is going to destroy all illusion along with those who decided to walk in it because it suited their lust and desire and they will cease to exist even in memory after judgment. What's a good camera used for YouTube?

I film random stuff here and there. I currently have a Canon PowerShot A490 which is okay for pictures but terrible for videos. The quality is crap. I'm looking more into creating videos and skits to upload to my YouTube channel. My budget is 100$, I wanted to know if there are any decent cameras around that price. I was about to get a Flip since it's around 60$ for 4GB but the quality isn't that great to me. If there are any other cameras that has good resolution, and is around 100$, please let me know. First of all, do you rent your home or own it? If you rent, I guarantee that your Landlord would not like this living situation; he would tell this family that they need to leave because you are breaking your Landlords contract by having all these extra people there without permission. If you own your home, you need to be strong and set the rules; give them a contract stating these are the conditions of living here; this amt of rent money each month, only washing clothes twice weekly, helping with the groceries, paying the electric bill every other month, etc. You are the Landlord, if they don't agree, they need to leave. I realize this is hard, but it is your home...be strong.

Is my girlfriend using me?

I have been dating my girlfriend for a little over two years now and everything has been great overall. I'm a college student that is about to finish my senior year of college and she is in the middle of obtaining her associates degree and my parents have warned me about my situation and for a while. Shes a great partner that supports me and she is a dependent woman that works full time as while I work part time till i finish my last two college semesters. Since the beginning our relationship, we have worked together and have had some great memories, but lately since she has been in school it seems like she has been asking me to help her alot with home work and other things. What is my problem and what do i do about it?

Im about 18 years old and in prime physical condition. I hate everyone except for my girlfriend whom i am marrying. I get extremely angry over stupid situations and the only things that make me happy beside my girlfriend and music about hatred and suicide are thoughts of death and mutilation. I know this isn't healthy but i am far too prideful to seek extensive help. My girlfriend called my to attention about how "dark" i am and she says i should be happier. She knows that even though i often think about harming myself that i never will but it is also understood that if for some reason i act through my anger at something that that thing will be broken or i will, this causes her to shut down to me, which i find fairly frustrating because i don't want any further harm to come to her after what she has experienced earlier in life. She just wants me to be "happy" but i believe that is a dead emotion within me. In fact, my only hope for emotional release is within the army. I take time to specifically detail disembowelments in my drawings, schools have always said im "emotionally disturbed" and "autistic" "moody" "bipolar" and much more from kindergarten on. Im convinced that aver so long of a routine that this is who i am but i still don't know. My own father even tears me down telling me i fit the bill of criminals who when they decide they wish to die open fully automatic fire on a crowd before they commit suicide. I feel as though i will destroy my own relationship from emotional discharges, some of which i black out yell at my girlfriend, she forgives me but it makes her more distant. Even though she says i am the only person she ever wants to be with for the rest of her life i find it hard to believe in between my actions and other guys flirting with her, which actually makes me feel proud of myself but i find it extremely frustrating when i don't know what to do and by the end of the day make a total *** out of myself. What the hell is my problem and how do i resolve it, for the sake of possibly my own survival? (Hypothetically being hunted)

How do you deal with a nervy/shy dog that won't let you put it on a lead?

They've this nervy dog at the shelter where i work, he's never been socialised and just been seperated from his mother a couple of weeks ago at 8 months. I needed to take him out of his kennel for it to be cleaned, but he just skits away when you approach him. I'm not a dominant in your face personality, and I approach slowly but it still doesn't work. One of the other workers, was sharp with me saying 'don't do that, you'll scare him', and just let him run up the kennel corridor, luckily this was okay cos the other dogs were in the runs at the time. But, I didn't think this was a good idea because if the other dogs were in the kennels, they get quite hyped up when a dog passes their kennel, and a couple of dogs have been bitten when this worker has let them swing across before.
